Shoppers can easily purchase gift certificates and have the option to receive the gift certificate for their own distribution or have it immediately e-mailed to the recipient with a nice graphically designed HTML or TEXT template. StoreFront Gift Certificates can be added as separate products, or as a single product with multiple attributed pricing levels. With GCAP, emails are customized using the included e-mail template or via a Merchant defined template with required replacement variables. The customer will receive a carbon-copy (CC) of the e-mail sent to the recipient for their records as well. The customer is provided the gift certificate code on their confirmation e-mail. E-mail may be either HTML or Text format (sent as a multi-part e-mail), as defined by the Merchant and configured accordingly in the Gift Certificate Add-On Documentation.
