This all-in-one security suite detects and eliminates dangerous spyware, blocks unwanted communication to and from your PC, makes your computer invisible to hackers and other threats that scan for unprotected machines, scans and disinfects email messages before they're sent or received, and repairs browser and operating system vulnerabilities that leave your system open to attack. It also eliminates tracking cookies that monitor browsing habits, backdoors that enable covert control, and keyloggers that record keyboard and mouse activity.
Run up to 17 different checks to test your system for security weaknesses. Control what programs can and can't be added to the Windows startup process. System Shield's real-time, continuous protection scans incoming email messages before they reach your hard drive and outgoing email messages before they reach the mail server.
System Shield runs in the background and places few demands on system resources. Hourly virus definition updates protect you from the latest threats, and optional heuristic features catch brand-new viruses even before they've been fully defined. Real-time monitoring and historical statistics allow either quick analysis or more advanced troubleshooting.
